INTRODUCTION

Sri Seshadri Swamigal, was a saint, and an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and Ma Parvati, and he was born in a pious Brahmin family in Kanchipuram, and after some years, he relocated his place to Thiruvannamalai and stayed there permanently till his Samadhi.

Due to the blessings of Holy mother Kamakshi, Seshadri had grown up in a well versed manner. Even at his childhood itself, his thoughts were focussed on spirituality, and he was considered as a lucky son to his parents due to his pious nature.

He used to meditate at his very young age, he looked very handsome, and he resembled similar to child Krishna. Neighbours used to take him to their homes, and would offer delicious food items to young Seshadri. He remained as a calm boy, and he didn’t give any troubles to his parents. At his teenage, since he lost his parents, his uncle and aunt took care of him at their home.

Due to his spiritual thirst, he left his uncle’s home, and began to wander in the streets of Thiruvannamalai. In course of time, people began to consider him as a Holy Saint, and gave good respect to him, and also offered sufficient food to him. During his life time, he performed many miracles in the lives of his devotees, and still he is doing it in a marvellous manner. His temple is situated in the Girivalam Path at Thiruvannamalai, and those who visit Ramanashram can also visit the temple of Seshadri, in order to offer their prayers to him.
