Shiva is one of the three main gods of Hindu religion. There are three principal gods who are responsible for the worldly affairs.
Vishnu is the second of the Hindu Trinity. He represents the Sattva Guna and he is responsible for the sustenance, maintenance and protection of the universe.
Lord Brahma –‘ब्रह्मा’ is the first Deva of the Trimurti along with Vishnu and Maheswara (Shiva). Lord Brahma is the originator and the generator of mankind. He is the dhata (the giver), and the Vidhata (the Supreme Being).
